In a certain city, there are three stores where you can rent DVDs. The table shows the cost y in dollars to r x DVDs at store A The graph represents the cost at store The equation y = 2.75x represents the cost at C. At which store is the cost of renting DVDs the least?
Solution
From the given data :
For store A : We can see that cost of 2 DVD\'s = $15.30.
For store B : We can deduce from grap that the cost of 2 DVD\'s = $5.2
For store C : We have y = 2.75x so for 2 DVD\'s x = 2 so y = 2.75*2= $5.5
So we can say that store B has the least renting cost.
