How does the control logic unit switch from one instruction

How does the control logic unit switch from one instruction to another (say, LDA to STA)? For example, using micro programs and time steps (also called cycles). What happens when such a micro program completes? Add anything to the circuit to indicate so.

Solution

there are two types of control logics are there in computer to switch between the statements and execute them.they are given bellow:

the above control logics can send the control signals each time.for t generate control signal the control logic takes the timing pulse and some inputs according to that inputs control logic can generate each control signal.

if an instruction wants to execute that must be execute when timing and control signal came.

some programs have cycles yes, there is no indiacation in control logic that each cycle is considered as an instruction

hardwired control desgine with fully hardware it is hard to replace or chane if we want any change we need to change the entire strucure...

microprogrammed control can be implemented by writing instructions so this can be easy to maintaine and change.
