Yes, I agree that wireless, video and web-enabled features are driving force behind developments in telecommunication, networking and computing technologies in future. Internet has become most important thing in everyone’s life from last few years. It seems like everything is web enabled these days. In the time of Twitter, Instagram, snap chat and many other social media apps, companies focusing on development wireless, video and web based devices seems suitable. People these days are looking for things that are multi functional and convenient. People wants to control their home devices, cars with the touch of button on their cellphone and this is only possible if everything is connected to web wireless. TV and cable companies are working on innovating products to remove hassle of wiring and they can eliminate cost of labor and wires due to these futuristic products. Internet has made telecommunication much faster and easier. New generation seems to be captivated with social media. They want to share every second of their lives with rest of the world. Hence, apps like periscope, snap chat and you tube are so popular. Companies are making billions by inventing these type of technologies for networking and telecommunications. Car companies are also working on computing technologies which are making cars web enabled and video enabled so that people can stay connected with rest of the world while on the move.

I see essential home appliances like refrigerator to be web and video enabled in near future. It may able to order groceries itself for people that are too occupied with their work. In fact nothing seems to be off limits in today’s technology and social media driven world.

1) The development of high speed wireless protocols. We are rapidly moving from the age 2G to 3G to 4G to 5G ..

2) More and more audio and video embedded chats in majority of the web applications.

3) Internet services over airplanes.

4) Since we use high battery power for video and audio. There has been constant research to improve the battery life of hand-held devices.

5) We are also moving toward the high speed internet to tribal/rural people using better communication services etc.
