A) Possible sources of error during spring rate test are:-

1) Measurements taken by ruler are not accurate.

2) Inaccurate forces being exerted over the material, such as the mass not being exactly as stated.

3) Parallax error while reading measurements.

4) The overall calibration of the apparatus being used to conduct the experiment may have been    

     inaccurate.
