Solve for x and y:

28x-49y=35

4x-7y=5

1. x=3, y=1

2. There are an infinite number of solutions.

3. There is no solution.

4. The solution is (0, 0).

Solution

28x -49y = 35 ------- (1)

4x - 7y = 5 --------(2)

Multiply eq.(2) with 7 , i.e it becomes 28x -49y =35 which is same as eq.(1)

As both equations are the same, we can have infinite solutions of the system of equations.

Solve for x and y: 28x-49y=35 4x-7y=5 1. x=3, y=1 2. There are an infinite number of solutions. 3. There is no solution. 4. The solution is (0, 0).Solution28x -
