If, instead, a Ziploc bag made from plastic 2x mu m thick (but otherwise identical) is used, how would this affect the rate at which odor escapes from the bag into the refrigerator?
Solution
The rate of odor escape won\'t be affected because the bag is made of plastic and the layer thickness of x or 2x won\'t affect the impermeability of the plastic bag.
Also, the zip is same in both the bags, so the odor that can escape through this zip would be same in both the cases irrespective of the layer thickness.
