Can someone explain to me what the learning curve equation T

Can someone explain to me what the learning curve equation (Tn=T1*n^b) is and how you get this equation? What is the relationship between the variables?

Solution

The learning curve equation is defined as follows : -

Tn = T1 nb

Tn is the production time for the nth unit

T1 is the production time for the first unit

n = number of units

b is slope of the learning curve and is defined as b = log(learning rate) / log2

Lr , the learning rate , is expressed as a decimal , eg ., Lr = 80% = 0.8
