what is the difference between changed in demand and a change in quantity of demand

Solution

In case of change in demand the whole demand curve shifts to the right for increase in demand or leftwards in case of decrease in demand. This may be due to income, tastes, preferences , fashion etc.

On the other hand with change in quantity of demand, the change is on the demand curve itself i.e. with low price more quantity is demanded of goods and with high price less of the quantity is demanded and vice versa.
