I NEED IT TO BE TYPED THANK YOU, I NEED A SPECIFIC EXAMPLE, identify three different loads on the grid and discuss the type of problem each causes to the grid. The problems can be at home, at work, or any other location you encounter routinely. Include any known voltages, the location, and the application of the load.
Solution
The three loads are motor pump, fridge and washing machine. All are 240 V 50 Hz AC machines.
During the starting, motor pump consumes most power and as its rotor reaches rated speed, its power consumption reduces. So a motor pump results in voltage variation. It also consumes power at lagging power factor. So it practically reduces the voltage at consumer end.
The fridge opertion also affects the grid for example I have seen over voltage relay getting activated on switching off fridge. So fridge operation results in voltage variation.
Washing machine operation results in load variation as its power consumption depends on the mode of operation. So washing machines operation results in voltage variation.
