There are 3 bins containing integrated circuits ICs One bin

There are 3 bins containing integrated circuits (IC\'s). One bin has two premium IC\'s, one has two regular IC\'s, and one has one premium IC and one regular IC. An IC is picked at random. It is found to be a premium IC. What is the probability that the remaining IC in that bin is also a premium IC?

Solution

It givem that selected IC is premium. So second IC can be premium in ony 1 way, the bin which has 2 premium ICs. Probability of selecting a bin with 2 premium ICs is 1/3. So the probabilty that second IC is also Premium is 1/3. So option C is correct.
