Listeria is one of the most dangerous disease caused by the contaminated food. It is the intracellular parasite that can cause infection in central nervous system.

Gastrointestitis, perineal infection and infection in central nervous system, these are the common symptoms of the Listeria monocytogenes.

(b) :- Confirmed case :- When a person with illness is diagnosed and confirmed about the Listeria, it is confirmed case.

Probable case :- when a person is still pending for the diagnosis of the listeria, it is called probable case.

Possible case :- A person having vomating and diarrhea may termed as possible case.

suspect case :- when there are symptoms of headache, stiff neck and other problems.
