Solve the triangle Not a right triangle a 2 c 1 B 10degre

Solve the triangle (Not a right triangle) a = 2, c = 1, B = 10^degree

Solution

a = 2; c=1 ; B =10

Apply cosine rule : b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2a*c*cosB

= 2^2 + 1 -2*2*1cos10

= 5 - 4cos10

b = 1.03

Apply sine rule : a/sinA = b/sinB

sinA = a*sinB /b = 2*sin10/1.03 = 0.337

A1 = 19.70 deg ; A2 = 180 -19.70 = 160.3 deg

C1 = 180 -B - A1 = 150.3 deg ; C2 = 180- 160.3 -10 = 9.7 deg

 Solve the triangle (Not a right triangle) a = 2, c = 1, B = 10^degreeSolutiona = 2; c=1 ; B =10 Apply cosine rule : b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2a*c*cosB = 2^2 + 1 -2*2*
