In the testing of hypothesis, there are two types of error

Type I error is the probability of rejecting of H_o the null hypothesis when H₀ is true.

Type II error is the probability of acceptance H₀ when the H₁ is true.

For a given sample size, when we increase the probability of Type I error, the probability of Type II error is decrease because as the power increases the significance level decreases.
