Find trigonometric notation for 5 Squareroot 3 + 5i.

Solution

Trignometric form is

r(cos theta +isin theta)

r=sqrt(a^2 + b^2)

And in the given question ,a = 5sqrt3 ,b=5

r=sqrt(5sqrt3)^2 +5^2)

r= sqrt 100=10

Theta= tan^-1(b/a

theta=tan_1(5/5sqrt3))=30

Therefore required trignometric form is

10(cos 30 + isin30 )
