2)Fragment size of DNA- Small DNA molecules molve more quickly through the gel than larger DNA molecules.In gel Electrophoresis ,the bands furthest from the start of the gel contain the smallest fragment of DNA whereas the bands closest from the start of gel contain the largest fragment of DNA molecules.
