After machining, is very important to clean all the machine up.

Machining operations by hand could be susceptible to errors because more concentration during de machining is needed, but if some error occurs during machining by hand, the piece of metal could be lost. By CAM programing could be errors,but they can be fixed it up before CAM machining starts.
When a very simple piece is going to be been machined, for example a one soulder shaft, is preferable to use machining by hand, because in this specific kind of pieces, CAM programing is more difficult because all things you should do, Vs. just start lathering and follow what the draw says, it should be just a couple of distances to take care of
