9. thickness of the oil is not uniform, so is the thickness of the bubble. When thickness is not uniform it creates interference phenomenon. maxima and the minima of perticular color depends on wavelengths. since the wavelengths are different, the positions of maxima and minimas are also different. and thats why we see rainbow patterns
