Need help solving this problem Worldwide production of solar

Need help solving this problem.

Worldwide production of solar power (in megawatts) can be modeled by f(t) = 1040(1.3)t, where t is years since 2004.Find and interpret f(0),f(15), f’(0), and f’(15) Include units.

Solution

There is probably a typo in the question.

We take f(t) =1040+ 1.3 t

f(0) = 1040 megawatts (this is the worldwide production in the year 2004)

f(15) = 1059.5 megawatts (this is the worldwide production in the year 2019

f\'(0)=f\'(15) =1.3 megawatt/year (this is a linear growth)
