What is the plant cell protoplast? What are the two defined areas within the protoplast?
Solution
The plant cell protoplast includes the plasmalemma and the constituents present within it, it is present within the plant cell wall. We can isolate protoplast by removing the cell wall. It is not present in reproductive cells and those cells that float freely. So, a plant cell excluding the cell wall is considered as the protoplast. It contains plasma membrane and the inclusions present inside the cell. It is capable of carrying out cell growth and reproduction.
