What is the slope and yintercept of the graph of the equatio

What is the slope and y-intercept of the graph of the equation.

-x+6y-42=0

I got m=1/6 (0,7)

Am I correct?

Solution

given line is -x+6y-42 = 0..........(1)

equation of line having slope \"m\" and y-intercept \"c\" is y = mx+c..........(2)

equation (1) reduces to 6y = x+42

implies y =(1/6)(x+42)

y = (1/6)x+7.

from (2) (m,c) = (1/6 ,7)

What is the slope and y-intercept of the graph of the equation. -x+6y-42=0 I got m=1/6 (0,7) Am I correct?Solutiongiven line is -x+6y-42 = 0..........(1) equati
