>> Mass Flow Rate = 75 lbm/min = 1.25 lbm/sec

and at 60 F, Density of Water = 1.938 lbm/ft3

>> Area, A = pi*42/4 = 12.566 in2

As, Discharge or Volumetric Flow Rate = Mass Flow Rate/Density = Area * Velocity

=> Putting all values ,

=> 1.25/(1.938/123) = 12.566*V

>> Solving,

V = 88.696 in/sec = 7.39 ft/sec .... ANSWER...
