Solution

The genetic variation represented by plants and animals is known as Biodiversity. The existence of different plant and animal species attributes to their variation in the genetic makeup. This genetic variation is known as biodiversity.

The food chain and ecosystem are very closely related directly or indirectly. If any species in the food chain are extinct, it affects both the producers and predators. For example, if herbivores are extinct, the higher predators that depend on herbivores cannot survive, which also affects the other food chains in several ways. Means, disturbance at one point disturbs the whole eco system. For example, extinction of certain plant and animal species directly involved in the alteration of environmental temperature and greenhouse gases. The only solution to stop this is avoiding extinction.

For example, birds are directly involved in the dispersal of plant seeds, certain bird species are cadaver eaters (eg: vultures), which play a key role in the avoiding the release of toxic gases from the dead bodies. Extinction bird species mainly affects plant propagation and fertilization in plants. Extinction of other species such as wild animals alters the life cycle in that ecosystem.
