EXPLAINE PPLEASE.

Nucleosomes: are important features of chromosome organization in eukaryotes and bacteria. are composed of proteins rich in acidic amino acids, such as Asp and Glue. are composed of protein and RNA. bind DNA and alter its supercoiling. occur in chromatin at irregular intervals along the DNA molecule.

Solution

The basic repeating structural unit of chromatin is nucleosome. Each nucleosome is composed two turns of DNA wrapped around a set of eight proteins called histones, which are known as a histone octamer. The histone proteins are H2A, H2B, H3 and H4. The chromatin with nucleosomes looks like beads on a string pattern and the nucleosomes are placed at regular intervals. By this type of chromatin remodelling by nucleosomes the length of the Chromatin is shortened and are able to be packed within the cell. Hence option A must be correct. It doesnot alter DNA supercoiling. Doesnot contain RNA Only histones proteins are present. Hence B , C , D and E are wrong.
