Draw out a dilution scheme showing how you would perform a 1/450 dilution. Making sure that no more than 10mL is in each tube. Please show both tube and total dilutions.

Solution

first we need to make 1:45 dilution means 1 microlittre of sample in 44 microlittre of water

then from this further 1:10 dilution mean 1 microlittre of sample in 9  microlittre of water will make this 1/450 dilution.
