1. Patient signs operative permit for surgery on right knee and surgeon does surgery on left knee, discovers there is nothing wrong with left knee, then performs surgery on the right knee.

Solution

the surgon does commited a blunder in this example. and the sued person is the hospital. the patient can sue agianst the hospital for the wrong operation what they did. of course they realized later and they completed the operation, but unnecessarily why should the patient bare the pain. and he can not perform any activity with the right leg.
