1. The two drug targets are 1. Na + ion channel, the passively transport Na+ ions from Extra Cellular Side (ECS) to Intra cellular space (ICS), which leads to Depolarization. 2. Na+ - K+ Pump: Active transporter that simultaniously transport Na+ ions from Intra cellular space to Extra Cellular Side and K+ ions from Extra Cellular Side to Intra cellular space and restores Resting Potential

2. In Neurons, ECS possess high amount of Na+ ions and ICS possess low Na+ ions. Due to this there ia existance of Resting Membrane Potential. While depolarization inorder to generate Action potential, the Na+ ions move from ECS to ICS. During this time, K+ ions also move from ICS to ESC. After the neuronal transmission, the exces ICS Na+ ions pumped out to ECS by Na+-K+ pump with the expense of ATP. dUE TO THIS PUMPING, RE ESTABLISHMENT OF RESTING POTENTIAL TAKES PLACE
