From the transform it is clear that both extremely dark and extremely light clours have been converted into extremely dark colours while medium dark colours have been made extremely light. This is the case with figure (a2) where the body of cheetah is somewhat of same colour whereas the green colour of medium intensity has been made extremely light( whitish).
