I know D isn\'t the correct answer but don\'t know how to figure out which is the actual graph

Graph two periods of the given secant function. y= sec (2x + pi/5) + 1 Choose the correct graph of two periods of y = sec (2x + pi/5) + 1 below.

Solution

At x= -pi/10,

y = sec(0) + 1 = 1 + 1 = 2

as x increases from -pi/10, y will increases upto infinity at 2x+ pi/5 = pi/2

x= 3 pi/ 20

Option A shows this behaviour.
