If you wish to prepare a 2.2% - 50mL agarose gel, how much agarose will you add to the 50mL of solution? Please show all work.

Suppose if you want to make 2.2% agarose of 100ml then 2.2gms is added to 100ml water.

Now we have to prepare 2.2% agarose for 50ml. So half of 2.2gms i.e; 1.1gms agarose is added to 50ml water.
