If you flip a fair coin 10 times, what is the probability of the following (give all answers to 3 decimal places):
Solution
the coin is flipped 10 times then the number of cases in sample spaces will be 2^10
a)getting all tails= only 1 case will happen when all coin will show tail therefore probability = 1/2^10
b))getting all head= only 1 case will happen when all coin will show headl therefore probability = 1/2^10
c) getting at least one tail will be equal to 1 - probability of having no tail
therefore probability will be 1-2^5/2^10 = 1 - 1/2^5
