If a patients left pupil is dilated more than his right pupi
If a patient\'s left pupil is dilated more than his right pupil, what significant information would this tell you?
Solution
If the ptient is okay then it is simple anisochoria... if the patient had a stroke or trauma than lefteye pupil dilation possibly signifies right side brain damage .. it can also signal brain mass/leison, occulomotor nerve palsy pressing on CNIII resulting in uninhibited pupil dilation on the same side as leison .
Hope that helps ...feel free to comment and discuss...
