Concrete and cement:
I) Assume that you were able to keep your job as the manager of the cement plant. Your geologist suggests to use raw materials that do not contain iron nor aluminum so the cement will not have C3A nor C4AF. Is this a good idea?
Solution
No. This is not a good idea. C3A and C4Af gives the heat of hydration to the cement when it mixes with the water that is further required to get the suffient strenth.
While iron gives the strenth and colour to the cement. If it is remove then there is no other material which compensate this requirement.
