What are some ways that the practice of physiology helps us to better study psychology? the physiology plays an important role in understanding the brain and the effects that it has on the body and our lives. My question is: how does the study of the body and brain help to further examine/understand psychology and human nature?
Solution
We know the brain is the most complex organ in the body it is a source of all thought and behaviour. The nature of human mind is very difficult to understand because it is very subtle as well as hidden. The structure of personality is defined in terms of the unconscious, preconscious and conscious. Consciousness is described as the part of psyche that includes material of which one is fully aware, preconscious is the part of this psyche that includes material which is not at the moment within one\'s awareness and which can readily be brought to the conscious mind and unconscious as the path that includes material not which is not at the moment within ones awarenss and which cannot readily be brought to the conscious mind.
The conclusion is the words conscious subconscious and unconscious are used to describe different functions of the same mind since the subconscious and the conscious mind work mechanical is a change is possible only by the conscious mind through its special power or self determination so for the development of the mind we have to feed the mind with rich food, nourish it, strengthen it and enrich it as a result we can have good understanding, peace wisdom and joy. So today we are agreeing with the behaviourists and are studying mental processes in psychology as well and tryinh to explain every human behaviour in terms of Mind involved in it. since mind instructs body to behave in a definite way. every behaviour is having minimum 2 aspects the physical and mental so in order to have an effective behaviour we try to balance between the two.
