The next important breakthrough would be finding a way to give/receive blood from any blood type i.e., (O negative, O positive, A negative, A positive, B negative, B positive, AB negative and AB positive) The reason for this is important because O blood type needs transfusion from same blood type, because of hemolytic transfusion reaction. Which occur when your ABO or Rh blood type and that of the transfused blood do not match. These problem would be resolved so that any person can receive any blood type.
