Merediths watch hand goes 2 minutes faster than it is suppos

Meredith’s watch hand goes 2 minutes faster than it is supposed to move every

hour. She sets her watch at 8:00 A.M. in the morning to the correct time. What time does her

watch show at 2:00 P.M. that day?

She sets her watch at 8 A.M.

Now at 9 A.M her watch will show = 9:02 A.M.

Similarly at 10 A.M. watch will show = 10:04 A.M

at 11 A.M watch will show = 11:06 A.M

at 12 PM watch will show = 12:08 P.M.

At 1 PM watch will show = 1:10 P.M

hence at 2 P.M watch will show = 2:12 P.M
