c Write a hypothesis related to the force generated at diffe

c. Write a hypothesis related to the force generated at different hand span lengths.

Solution

1. Whenever, a current carrying conductor comes under a magnetic field, there will be force acting on the conductor

2. If a conductor is forcefully brought under a magnetic field, there will be an induced current in that conductor.

3. In both of the phenomenon, there is a relation between magnetic field, current and force.

4. This relation is directionally hypothesized and determined by Fleming Left Hand rule and Fleming Right Hand rule respectively.

5. Directionally means these rules do not show the magnitude but show the direction of any of the three parameters (magnetic field, current, force)

6. Fleming Left Hand rules is mainly applicable for electric motor

7. Fleming Right Hand rules is mainly applicable for electric generator.

8. Hold out the right hand with the first finger, second finger and thumb at right angle to each other.

a) The thumb is pointed in the direction of motion of the conductor.

b) The first finger is pointed in the direction of the magnetic field. (north to south)

c) Then the second finger represents the direction of the induced or generated current

10. John Ambrose Fleming made hypothesis on both these rules and known as Fleming left and right hand rule.

c. Write a hypothesis related to the force generated at different hand span lengths.Solution1. Whenever, a current carrying conductor comes under a magnetic fie
