initial velocity v = 10 m/s, = 40o,
horizontal displacement = R = vcos*t
vertical displacement = -h = vsin*t - gt2/2
As h/R = 3/4, so h = 0.75 R
-0.75R = vsin*t - gt2/2
-0.75vcos*t = vsin*t - gt2/2
-0.75vcos = vsin - gt/2
Hence,

Time of flight (t) = 2v(sin + 0.75cos)/g = 2.48s
Range (R) = vcos*t = 19.0 m
