For the function in Part c solve to find how long it would t

For the function in Part c, solve to find how long it would take for the ant population to reach 10,000. Simplify the function from Exploration 3.2.1, N(t) = N_0e^- t In2/h, to show that the function can be written in the form f(t) = a middot b^kt.

Solution

h. N(t)=N0e-t ln2/h

N(t)=N0eln2^(-t/h)

N(t)=N02-t/h

This is of the form f(t)=a*bkt

where f(t)=N(t)

and a=N0

b=2

k=-1/h
