-3/(s2 + 3s - 4) + 9/(s + 4) = 1/(s - 1)

==> -3/(s2 + 4s - s - 4) + 9/(s + 4) = 1/(s - 1)

==> -3/[s(s + 4) - 1(s + 4)] + 9/(s + 4) = 1/(s - 1)

==> -3/[(s + 4)(s - 1)] + 9/(s + 4) = 1/(s - 1)

==> (- 3 + 9(s -1) )/[(s + 4)(s - 1)] = 1/(s- 1)

==> (- 3 + 9s -9 )/(s + 4) = 1

==> 9s - 12 = s + 4

==> 9s - s = 4 + 12

==> 8s = 16

==> s = 2

Hence solution is s = 2
