Solve the following equation on the interval [0,2PI). tan(3x) = square root3 Select the correct choice below and, if necessary, fill in the answer box to complete your choice. X = (Type an exact answer, using n as needed. Use a comma to separate answers as needed. Type your answer in radians. Simplify your answer. Use integers or fractions for any numbers in the expression.) There is no solution.

Solution

tan(3x) = sqrt3

3x = tan^-1(sqrt3)

tan is +ve in Ist and IIIrd quadrant

So, 3x = pi/3 , pi+pi/3

x = pi/6 , 4pi/6

Solution : A : x= pi/6, 2pi/3
