CAD Modeling: Creo
What would be a situation in which you would prefer to show the oblique view of an object instead of the perspective one? What is the difference between a constraint and an objective in engineering design?Solution
1.) Oblique view is selected when the true shape of a figure needs to be seen.
The objects in oblique drawing are drawn with the most distinguishing features facing directly towards the observer.
For example: If the part contains a circle in it, the object is oriented in such a way that the face containing the circle directly faces the observer.
In such case the circle would actually look like a circle, otherwise in a perspective view, the circle would look like an ellipse.
2.)
CONSTRAINT:
It means what non-negotiable conditions must be met.
Constraints can in no way be defied, it has to be followed every time.
It can also be understood as boundarries within which one has to obtain his/her objectives.
OBJECTIVE:
It is simply the parameter or function that needs to be minimized or maximised respecting the constraints.
