Colloid osmotic pressure in plasma is fairly constant in a h
Solution
This pressure created by substance dissolved in blood plasma. some compounds such as proteins (albumin) generate osmotic pressure throughout the body , a force which control the movement of water through cell membrane. Plasma proteins are large and can not permeate easily through the capillary. The size of protein increases the interior pressure of capillaries and prevent fluid to leak out. Due to this protein barrier fluids are pulled into the capillary.
So, the net filteration pressure that drive fluid out of the capillaries is depend on this colloid osmotic pressure.
Here, protein starvation lead to the reduction in this pressure because lack of the formation of plasma proteins.
High protein diet will increase this pressure because large no. Of proteins are present.
Net fluid flow across capillaries is depend on two pressure one is net hydrostatic pressure and another is interstitial fluid blood colloid oncotic pressure
Net fluid flow includes absorption across the capillary effected in this way
in = if - cap
Assume if = 0 mmHg
in = -30mmHg
This is a 20% increase in absorption pressure and it would raise blood volume or blood pressure over normal.
