(Assume ideal current source,lightbulbs, thier brightness increase with increasing dissipated power), how dos closing the switch affect the brightness of bulb A and B? please explain answer in details.
Solution
1.Before the opened switch the current flow in the two blubs,they will glow and their brightness depends on the power dissipatewd by the bulb
2. when the switch is closed ,the current always chooses low resisitance path means that from the availble paths, which is having low resistance more current will flow
3 coming to our problem one path is compleately closed means it is having very low resistance so finallly total current from source flows through the short circuted path no current flows through the bulbs
finally both will not glow when switch is closed
