Solution
Juniata comes under low income group. Hispanic children and children of low socioeconomic conditions may be exposed to more pollution. Upto 8% of Hispanic children have asthma. Hispanic children are twice as likely to be hospitalized for astha as White children. Due to low income, the child may have poor access to health care, and exposure to environmental triggers that worsen the condition.
the following are the interventions that RN must implement:
* Avoiding triggers, both indoors and outdoors
* Using proper medication
* Try to recognize which factors/triggers affect the child\'s asthma most, and avoid these triggers at home, school, and play
* Share an asthma copy of the plan with the child\'s teacher and school nurse
* Follow State agencies and TV on warning of the ozone alerts
* Find the nearby community asthma program to access information, tools, and strategies to improve the health of the child
