The line has slope = -2

So, y = mx + b can be written as :

y = -2x + b

It passes thru (1 , -2), which we can plug in to find b

-2 = -2(1) + b

-2 = -2 + b

b = -2 + 2

b = 0

So, y = -2x + b

y = -2x + 0
