How are homologous chromosomes different from sister chromat
Solution
1.Homologous chromosomes do not carry the same alleles of a gene rather they carry different alleles for a specific trait and are inherited from each parent. They are non identical and are not duplicate copies of each other.Genetic loci along the length of the homologous chromosomes might be the same with the same order but the alleles at the genetic loci differ. For example if one homologous chromosomes will express an allele for a trait, the other homologous chromosome might not express the same allele or that allele might be absent wheras in case of sister chromatids, they are identical as they are formed by duplication of homologous chromosomes. Also, the alleles at the genetic loci of a pair of sister chromatids is the same.

6.Tt
7.Heterozygous dominant
8.Since the plant is homozygous short,it will pass only the short \"t\" alleles to its offsprings.
9.Since the plant is heterozygous dominant , it will pass both the tall \"T\" allele and short \"t\" alleles to its offsprings.
