Endocrine glands secrete products called Endocrine glands s
Solution
Endocrine glands secrete the products called HORMONES.
Endocrine glands are a set of glands distributed all over the body. They secrete some biologically relevant chemicals in very minute amounts which are crucially required to maintain homeostasis in individuals. The endocrine glands are duct-less glands which directly secrete their secretions/hormones into the blood stream from where they are traversed to the area of ineterst and perform biological functions. Impaired levels of these hormones are directly involved in deterioration of health of individuals.
Some of the examples of endocrine glands are Pituitary gland of brain, thyroid gland near the trachea, the adrenal gland above kidneys, the pancreas etc which secrete regulatory hormones, thyroid hormone, adrenal hormones, insulin and glucagon hormones respectively.
