Describe the wireless solution you would recommend for EACH
Solution
Approximate range of 802.11g access point = 125 feet
Area Covered by 802.11g access point = (22/7) * 1252 = 15625 sq. ft(<20000 sq. ft)
Approximate range of 802.11n access point = 230 feet
Area Covered by 802.11n access point = (22/7) * 2302 = 52900 sq. ft(>20000 sq ft.)
Thus the area covered by 802.11g access point is less than the floor area, and the area covered by 802.11n access point is greater than the floor . So we need two 802.11g access points and the total cost would be $100 * 2 = $200, and guess what its still cheaper than a 802.11n access point, $300. Though the performance increases drastically when we use a single 802.11n instead of 802.11g. But all students can\'t use the wireless network if 802.11n while if 802.11g is used the students using computers having 802.11n NIC have backward compatibility with 802.11g access point.
