The VSS/TSS ratio is 0.7 The SCOD concentration is 3000 mg/L. Compute theoretical fixed suspended solids (FSS) and particulate COD (p_CoD) concentrations for the wastewater sample.Solution

pCOD = 5950 – 3000 = 2950 mg/L

Total suspended solid TSS= Kd x tCOD = 0.25 x 5950 =1487.5 mg/L
