I was able to figure out the code for \"Less than $40K\" and \"Greater than $100K,\" but I am having trouble with the between salary ranges. I did figure out using the \">\" and \"<\" for it though, but still not helping.

For \"between\" salary ranges use \">=\" and \"<=\" together. Also in excel use the \"if\", \"and\" functions together.

The syntax for \"between $40k and $70k\" would be: IF(AND(F2>=40,000,F2<=70,000),\"Between $40k and $70k\")

In the above syntax F2 represents the cell of the excel in which the salary data has been fed.

For instance if in cell F2 in your excel sheet if you feed salary amount as $56,000 then the cell will use the function:

IF(AND(F2>=40,000,F2<=70,000),\"Between $40k and $70k\")

The cell will be showing a categorical value of \"between $40k and $70k\".
